Hi All,

Had to do a little tune as running a little rough along with very rich exhaust, chewing fuel and black soot deposits on the rear of the car!
Reading was not too bad (def rich) but what a hassle it is re-setting the adaptives with the engine running.
Am I correct in:
1) loosening off the idle so both throttles fully closed
2) setting the TPs at 15 (actually 15.2)
3) adjusting the linking rod so both throttles move as one and checked using actual accelerator pedal (as close as I could get it anyway)
4) engine up to running temps then adjust idle to 1000 then TPs to get adaptives to 0 (impossible as fluctuating -3 to +2)
5) tighten idle screw

First 3 steps easy with engine off.
Resetting TPs/ adaptives with engine on I found near on impossible as all over the place with the engine vibrating etc. I could not get the adaptives to sit on zero as they were fluctuating. Also not really happy being so close to the spinning aux belt.

Running better now - good idle, not rich etc however, any tips on how to do this better/ safer in the future?

from the doc
Throttle position is displayed as a percentage of throttle potentiometer movement.
15% corresponds to a fully shut throttle, 94% to a fully open one. Idle position
is at approx. 19%. There are two throttle position sensors, one for each bank.
Page down to the third real-time screen to display throttle pot. readings only.
Throttle pot readings should be equal on both banks to within a few percent, and
must not fluctuate more than 3%. The readings should increase smoothly with
increasing throttle travel and remain approximately equal on both banks.

resetting the adaptives is best done when you are available to go for a drive as it will need to to resettle and find the values needed.

Thanks for that.
I think my TP fluctuation is greater than 3% - more like 6 or so. I couldn't get them precisely on 15% as they never showed that reading but 15.2% was close enough (throttle body closed and disengaged).
Running better with no obvious fuel smell or deposits on the rear bumper area. However, if I boot it there is quite a lot of crap comes out the exhausts.
