Can anyone advise me on pedals, please?

I currently have drilled metal pedals on the Cerbera, two narrow and one wide. The wide one is on the accelerator, which makes heal and toeing massively easy. Too easy, in fact, as when braking, I can occasionally catch the accelerator too - probably a wide feet/ wrong shoe issue.

Is the position of the wide pedal correct? I am tempted to move it across to the brake to give my flipper feet more helpful positioning!

Pedals on the Cerb are perfect

Ideal for Toe Heel

Ideal for Left Foot Braking

But I suggest that the wide pedal should be on the the brake

(ignore the throttle pedal position - the cable isn't connected)

Very helpful picture, thank you!

Someone in the past ownership of mine must have had small feet, or simply put them on the wrong way...

I’m sure my brake and throttle pedals are much closer together than in that photo. I often hit the throttle when braking, I did an emergency stop the other week (clutch and brake) and caught the throttle as well - revved it to 5k+ rpm in the process frown

The Leven Pedals, which were the second upgrade to my Cerb 13 years ago, are perfect.

(Allignment to my own specification)

If you swapped the brake and throttle pedals in the picture around, the wider "plate" which would then be on the throttle with an offset, closes the gap significantly. The issue you describe is exactly my problem, although I seem to do it regularly - cue slowing down for traffic lights/zebra crossing with a snarling exhaust note which seems to scare the general population unnecessarily!!

Edit: the arrangement in ukkid’s pic makes more sense. Will have a look tonight and might change it..

Hi Ian,
I have a big brake pedal so I think it’s more likely that it’s mounted upside-down compared with the pic (ie there’s more of it to the right than the left). The brake should definitely be the largest smile

Oh, I see what you mean!

Interesting that yours is upside down, and I guess also heel'n'toe related, maybe?

Not so much heel and toe as “big toe and little toe” wink I don’t know for sure what the arrangement is yet, need to look when I get home from work.

Had these laser cut these are 38mm standard size but did design a wider 50mm one as well. Also made a new throttle arm so all three pedals become adjustable

I would (and will) go for these.

Not yet though. Rebuilding the entire car has left me a bit skint.
