As previous, mine's on three arms laugh ...the AJP is a baby compared to a Cologne. And don't fret about 'balance'... that will rapidly change as you remove/add components anyway idea An engine stand should have 4 or 6 lockable positions (none of which will be just right)

I don't have any photos of an AJP engine but I've done it in the past with a Ford 2.8 Cologne engine (capri) and probably have a photo.

From memory - make sure you get the engine balanced around it's center point if it's one of those ones that can rotate. Very disconcerting when it's really trying hard to spin upside down etc...
One of the useful features of the 2.8i Capri was that it prepared me for the fuel consumption of first my 928, and then my Cerb, all three managing roughly 20mpg
I rebuilt everything on my capris, a 1600Mk1 when I was 20, stage 2 tuned with 150bhp nitrous kit. Was really fast for it's time.
Then had a Mk3 2.0S (black beastie) wich ended with a 2.1 race pinto engine.

Then In the Red (because I always was with it), a 2.8i Mk3 that had been used for drag racing. It was shagged...
I rebuilt that the first time using an allard turbo capri as a donor car. When the turbo went, and I'd had oil starvation thrashing it around Silverstone, I sold the kit and built it as a 3.2l long stroke, using a 2.9l cosworth crank, different pistons, shave the oil pump because it fouled the crank otherwise...
About ten years of rebuilding my capris in the garage
Only 196bhp, but 248 ft lb's of torque, 0-60 in a touch over 6 secs... 6mpg at Castle Coombe, around 18-20mpg on the road...

Then I bought the cerbera....

The reason I've never pulled the engine before is because I have to tread very carefully, and try to keep everyone happy

Many years ago someone complained that I was working on the car late at night, and the management co asked me to stop working after 9pm, which I thought was quite a result

The person who complained has long since left, and others have told me that they find it reassuring to have someone they recognise in the garage late at night, when they return late themselves

I don't play music when I'm working on the car, I always have podcasts playing, which again I think people find comforting rather than irritating

Despite what I said about music, I did play some while Alejandro made this brilliant video

What I didn't realise what that he would have to mask it due to copyright issues
