Ok maybe this is a record , have been lurking on this forum for 21 years and now decided to register and post , was suprised my ancient multi forum user name of Tvrracer was available (raced in the TVR car club Tasmin challenge in 2000 ,2001and2002) . Anyway , started my TVR ownership off with a 420SEAC (TVR420S) which I owned from 1998 until 2006 ish when I sold it to a friend on the promise of first refusal when he resold it ,only to be stabbed in the back by him (not a friend now !) , as said before raced a Tasmin 280 FHC for 3 seasons and came second in the championship one year. I have just sold a house in the UK and fancied a Harley (no bad comments please) , but then I realised there was one TVR I had always wanted a Cerbera 4.5 !
Looking at the classifieds it seems I could buy one for new Harley Road glide money (£23k) and thought I should get some advise from the TVR community.
Your thoughts please
Steve

So much depends on whether you will be wielding a wallet or a spanner

Oh ownership is very much a combination of both, just depends on how much on either side biggrin

Do it Steve !

I only owned (and still do) a motorcycle then bought a Cerb to run abroad in Luxy.

Had a bit of a problem registering it (Make sure your sales point gives you ALL the docs)
BUT
with all the parts suppliers having such good online and postal facilities, maintaining her has been easy.

Cerbs are not Rocket Surgery and the principal resource that you will require is here.
The guys are the fountain of knowledge and bend themselves into a knot to ensure that one more Cerb stays on the roads.

I've had mine longer than any other car I've owned.

She is a constant source of fun, interest and soul, whether on or off the road.

This is assuming that you know a Mole from a Molegrip.
(If you do not, then figure on driving her back to Blighty, at least once a year, to have her serviced [by a GOOD Service Point] )

For help, if you need it, registering a TVR in France find Michael Isles on Faceache.
He has several TVRs and lives down south somewhere.
