A coupla zillion years ago they were selling polished alloy ones on eBay.
I didn't but always wish that I had.
Perhaps they're available on a VW search ?
I bought one of these from RadtecI didn't but always wish that I had.
Perhaps they're available on a VW search ?
(and thatnks for the ref: )
BUT
Does it have the upper pipe that connects to the top rails (via flexible pipes and 'Y' piece) ?

What's the pressure relief set-up on the pretty one? Does it unceremoniously and uncontrollably dump from underneath like the VAG original, or have Radtec taken the opportunity to have a proper spigot so that it can be diverted away from the inner wing and chassis by attachment of a hose.

I am sure this is the cause of much of the upper chassis rail corrosion that occurs on the passenger sideI've always hated the design, because it took a while for me to resolve the overheating issues
I even tried attaching a hose to the original expansion tank, however it didn't work because it became overwhelmed, and simply flowed over the top of the tank
