Interesting question. I would ignore the haters and consider whether the end goal is worth the effort..
As for a Rover V8 in a Cerbera, I saw one for sale a few years ago.
.

Macded made good power from his 4.5 Turbo Rover engine.

likewise Hiltonig developed an amazing 5.4L supercharged Rover V8, both in Chimaeras.

Good luck
I admit it is an interesting point of view.

Many thanks for pictures.

The headers are not forward , perhaps it is possible and easier to use the forward headers of the chimaera.

Pretty impressive the BHP numbers but prefer the super charger route for less heat, better sound and lag free power.
That one is in wiltshire, saw it last year looking quite sad, missing the windscreen scuttle panel and very faded red paintwork. It was the original development car that had the Rover V8 fitted before the AJP were ready.

This. Or be original and get a Coyote or Voodoo..
The coyote engine would be a very good option but perhaps too wide and gravier than the rv8.
But don't know if the Cerbera hadn't been a mule for the New Griffith to test this engine?
A Cerb was the test mule for the new Griff (called The Hound) and had the Coyote lump installed in it. They do fit.
Yup, they cut the front of the chassis around a bit and it was a tight fit

Yeah, they just moved the crossmember forwards a bit from the look of it.

Off topic a bit but the centrifugal chargers are more laggy than a turbo at low revs because instead of just having to wait for the exhaust gases to spool the turbo you have to wait for the engine revs to increase to spool the supercharger ... at low revs a centrifugal charger makes next to no boost.

Thanks for sharing pictures, major châssis mods in this case, but the quad cam fit in width.
Another quad cam have been fitted, IT is a Maserati 4.7 that sound fantastic. I know very well this engine and it is epic, free revving and troublé free when the cam variators have been upgrade, so in a 2400 pounds tvr..... Graal....but don't know the weight for châssis balance.

Not off topic at all, it is very interesting and welcome.
The only turbocharged very powerfull car that I know well are Maserati 3200gt and Ferrari F40.... So for the lag.....
I'm found of the F40 for her "savageness" Or rawness, light weight, and assistance free, but don't liké so much the sponginess feel of 3200gt not heped for sûre by his first in Maserati history drive by wire. But like much the 4200/qp NA.
I think the Turbo could be more powerfull, but the feeling that I had expérienced let me think that I would like much the supercharger, for the sound unmuted too.
Ironicaly, I have never try powerfull super charger engine, so I trust you, and perhaps à well turbo setup with good mapping could make me reverse in my opinion......
Do you Think that the Rv8 500 turboed could be better than à supercharged one (Sc500) ? With no lag?

Reading this with interest.

Two things I noticed from turbocharging my RV8 4.6 Chimaera:

1. No turbo lag, though I did keep the turbo pressure to max 7.5 psi, which gave 400 bhp
2. The torque is magic - 525 ft lbs.

Absolutely, without a shadow of doubt.
