£45 for a 16”wheel in Brum, from Speedwell’s ... https://www.speedwells.co.uk/

I presume that price includes them removing the tyre, refitting and balancing smile ... but I’ll let you know if it’s anymore than that.
Ta - Sounds good. I will await your update

BUT

I am planning to come back to have a body update so while she's in for that I'll pop into Brum and get the wheels done at same time .
Perhaps we can meet up if you're around beer

Thanks Dave for trying to explain your testing method again.

Your re-wording has now set off a light in my head and, luckily, it's not the Mains thumbup

Of course, being a blind twit doesn't help and when I trace he circuit diagram you quoted, I find that the Horn live wire traces through to the Dip/Main wire at the exit point of this diagram.

Tell me I'm stupid ! banghead

You're right there, at the boss pcb Pin 1 is Wiper, Pin 2 Wash, Pin 3 Horn and Pin 4 Dip/Main and the important one common to all is pin 5 switching active low to zero volts when the steering wheel buttons are pressed. Pin 3 and 4 functions are reversed at the exit point of the indicator cancelling unit, well spotted ! read

Try a continuity/resistance check from steering wheel buttons to boss pcb and then from the boss ribbon to the bottom of the ICU to begin with, if the horn and dip/main functions are reversed they can be swopped later on.

That should keep you busy for a while biggrin

remember of course that you can always just use the horn as an audible indicator you have the right pins biggrin

Good idea Byker, could otherwise result in dire consequences if those two wires are crossed, picture the scenario you're happily driving along and spot another Tvr, attempt a flash but get the horn instead......you'd be lucky to get bail biglaugh
