I went 225/45/17 and 245/45/17, a bit tight on the back.

Where are we on recommended tyre sizes for RLs's now. Is the advice still to go for 255/40 x 17 for the rear and 225/45 x 17 for the front?
I would say, yes that's the best combination in 17". Especially when you try to find similar tyres for front and rear.
And I'm still voting for Michelin PS4 - perfect tyre in my opinion when you are not doing track days only. wink

Thanks both.
I've always used Goodyear Eagle F1's, seem to work well and better the devil etc...
That means I don't need to change size on the rear.

However - car now on axle stands, wheels removed and all tyres have 6mm of tread. By eye on the car they looked a lot less, so panic over for now.

Just need to start cleaning and checking underneath now.
