Something I've been meaning to ask for a while.
Lookming at a standard car is there anything which can be removed or changed for another componenet to save weight? Obviously I'd like to keep the car in a reasonalby civilised state (ie I'm not chucking away the passenger seat).

Aircon: save weight, stop sapping power and reduce the weight of the driver through perspiration all in one go.

And then look at as much interior trim as you can do without - rear seats, carpets, headlining.

Oh, and then have some lightweight panels made up for the doors, bonnet, boot.......

Alternatively get a life and get on driving what is possibly one of the fastest cars on the road.

Eat fewer pies? Leave any passengers at home? Always fun the fuel down to vapours? Only fill the minimum of oil? Put less air in the tyres? [ok, too far]
