Stumbled across my first ever PH post back in 2005!

It’s amazing how a car purchase all those years ago changed my path and purpose in life! Amazing when you think about it, bought an amazing car and still own her and because of it have had the most amazing experiences over the last 14 years racing cars.

Also very pleased to say that at least three people who replied t this post all them years ago I still talk too!

I was shocked to see that you committed the same year that I did !

Was thinking the other day (on the toilet, as you do) and realised that I've owned BlackBeauty©
far longer than any other car in my life.


I have found ownership to be a really amazing teacher (principally thanks to the generous contributors here on PH)
but, being an old git, it is inspiring to find something that can generate such a new spirit

Hope to catch up sometime in 20 when you can leap overthe bar and get us another "illegal" round in !
