I've got a 2000 Cerbera (single front light), anyone know of anyone who does clear front and side indicators for them?

Thanks in advance....

The fronts are military Landrover reversing lights. It was really funny at the local Lucas outlet typing in the part number came out as a Tank you should have seen the guys face. Most dealers can get them if you can't get then direct.

The side repeaters are standard Fiesta lights and can be brought from Halfords or your local MAX-POWER type outlet.

Hope this helps, Steve

Steve, Do you still remember the part number for the lenses?

Thanks, Fred.

Sorry, should've said do you still have the number. Didn't mean to imply you hang around train stations with a flask and a notepad

Mole Valley use the same lenses that are used for the rear reversing lights and they are cheaper than tank specification from Lucas, etc.

I wanted to convert my 99 to the clear lens/indicator set up. Was quoted about £80 from a dealer for the kit so was put off as there are other things like decat pipes that are far more important to purchase. Would however like to know how the each indicator is 'got at' and fitted as for +/- £25 I'll go to a motor factors and start looking.

The Haynes manual says the front lenses are accessible through the cover panel in the front of the inner wheel arch. Simply remove the cover and spend the next 3 hours chiselling off clumps of thick black mastic and skinning your knuckles on the fibreglass! Have fun - it helps if you are double jointed.

BTW, the new orange bulbs need a little bit of filing to fit the landrover housing.

Its worth it, it looks great when its done.

Reversing lights from Chim/Cerby are cheaper than £25 from dealer I beleive, some things are.
Did Chim myself, as stated, got to from behind grille, hardest bit is breaking the bonded seal on the housing, big pair of swannecks did it.
Cheers Al.

It's one of thise moments when you think... I'll take the original lense out and just put a clear one in, and then you realise you have to take the wheel off and trash the arches. Then you remember... ahh it's a TVR.....
