Removing Back Seats
Discussion

managed to remove the solenoid:
seat-back could be left in place, but seatbase removed, door gasket removed around b-pillar area.
the b-pillar trim could then be bent (with reasonably low impact on the trim) to gain (just) enough access to get the solenoid and the lock removed.
this said, i have no idea how the solenoid was attached to the lock...i will therefore open a new Thread:

Did you have to undo some bolts under the arch to get the seat base out?seat-back could be left in place, but seatbase removed, door gasket removed around b-pillar area.

Thread resurrection: I am going to remove the rear seats tomorrow to allow fitting of a rear roll bar to comply with motorsport Uk regs. I’ve undone the two seat base nuts and the three on the seat backs, now I need access to the nuts through the metal bars under the parcel shelf. Before I do something I will regret, how do you remove the parcel shelf please? Photos would be useful ❤️
