Hello Everyone,

Well I finally did it! I am now the very proud owner of a 1998, 4.5 Cerbera. Wow what a machine! It's something I have wanted since I first saw one in the Motor Show all them years ago. Worth every single penny I paid for it!

I am living in Munich, Germany so I drove the car over from Chesterfield (where I bought it) last weekend. Great fun down the autobahns, the Porche 911 Turbo grew smaller and smaller in the mirror until I backed off at over 150mph and pulled in to let him pass! Also got pulled by 2 dutch coppers in a servive station. Thought they were going to do me for the exhaust (it has sports exhaust on :-)) They actually spent 10 mins looking at the car with enormous grins on there faces asking me what the hell it was. Very funny!

I have a few questions to ask you all. Firstly I have noticed that the rear lens cover and also one of the front headlights have misted up. I know that this is a common problem, but is there an easy fix?

Also where do you jack the car up? I caught the underside slightly on the ferry ramp and I want to have a quick check underneath to make sure all is OK.

Finally, I have noticed a slight vibration in the steering wheel over 90 mph. Probably wheel balance but the vibration is very bad when braking from high speeds (160mph (I LOVE AUTOBHNS)). Could it be the front disks? If so should I skim or replace them (cost?). Car has done 14,000 miles so perhaps they need replacing?

Your help would be much appreciated!

P.S. What is the small button on the tunnel next to the gearlever for? It doesn't seem to do anything!

Cenral locking for when you're in the car. Very important in some parts of London

The light in the centre should illuminate when the button is pressed. Be a little careful when opening the doors from the inside after having activated the central lock as they spring open with a little more vigour than when it hasn't been activated

Edit: plotloss, my AC is on the dash in between the heater controls, next to the rear screen heater.

Nahhh,

It's sort of just in front of the cigarette tray and looks like the button on the door to get out....

It was there, but then I realised it was a Cerbera and I dont know why they put the air con button on them, they do that on the Chim, could do on the Cerb I suppose.
