Will post pics as soon as I can hook up this bloody camera up. I take your point about the doors - I guess that is the only comprimise I feel I've made...but you could have a 997 and a Gallardo for the price of the Murky!
On the test drive it was really apparent how compact and chuckable the car felt - the Murcielago felt like too much of a beast for me.

I'm there on the Friday. Find it to be the best day. Less of a crowd and you can get in almost everywhere. Even managed to blag my way into the Auction in Goodwood House last year!
Worth it just for the Supercar Paddock alone.

First of all - I'm expecting to be at Goodwood on Sunday so I'll keep my eyes open for your baby...
Second of all - you'll have to bring your new baby on one of our Sunday Essex runs. A few of the chaps come up from London, would be interesting to see how the Gallardo compared to Tony's Diablo (when he finally gets back from galavanting and brings it out to play!)

Thanks guys. Looking forward to seeing you at Goodwood. The essex run sounds good too. I am in that curious part of the buying process where I've outlayed the money (well some of it), paid the insurance (Tailor made Insurance 01604 no., brilliant quote and even cheaper than the usually excellent Mark Abbott from Cheam Insurance), am selling the 996 this morning.....and still haven't got the Lambo!
I've got to say that the Lambo London boys certainly roll out the red carpet once they see the colour of your money (as they should)...just discovered that my car has a slightly higher spec than they first told me, but no extra charge from LL. I appreciate that they have tasty margins etc but it's quite nice to have some good news about a car. Will post pics asap.Thought I might be the youngest Gallardo punter....turns out there is a 24 yr old whose snapped one up already...you can't win them all.
