PLEASE REFER TO

http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=...

THERE IS A LOT OF DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT KARL VERDI, ANYTHING THAT IS WRITTEN SUPPORTING VERDI ON PISTONHEADS OR FERRARICHAT IS WRITTEN BY VERDI HIMSELF OR ONE OF HIS HENCHMEN.

ALL THAT HAS BEEN WRITTEN ABOUT VERDI IS TRUE, HE HAS SWINDLED MANY. MANY CUSTOMERS OUT OF MONEY BY SELLING THEIR CARS AND NOT PAYING OVER THE CASH BUT HE HAS BEEN CAUGHT OUT BY SOME VERY PERSISTENT CUSTOMERS, HE HAS NUMEROUS BANKRUPTCY PETITIONS LODGED AGAINST HIS PROPERTIES MOST NOTABLY HIS GARAGES AT THE HAYES METRO CENTRE, THERE IS A WEALTH OF INFORMATION IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN, SEE ALSO THE CENTRAL LONDON COUNTY COURT.

ANYWAY, HE HAS COME NEAR THE END OF THE ROAD, THERE ARE A SUBSTANTIAL NUMBER OF CUSTOMERS, SOME OF WHOM HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL, WHO HAVE BANDED TOGETHER AND WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THIS CRIMINAL HAS BEEN CONVICTED IN COURT.
ARE YOU SURE ?

I had a situation many moons ago where I sold a car and the punter didn't pay, cheque bounced, yes I know I was stupid for not clearing it first. Anyway a month later he still hasn't paid. A friend of a friend specialises in "debt collection" he comes to see me. He's as wide as he is tall, ugly as sin, face all scarred up, he was one scary fker. I tell him I'm no gangster and dont want to get involved with any agro. He said they'll be no agro, because the car you sold wasn't yours to sell, you were selling it on my behalf. I'll tell him to either pay me or give me the keys to my car. Anyway he paid him a visit and I got my money, together with a personal apology. apparently he knocked on his door at 6am, when the bloked answered the door in his dressing gown he grabbed him by the balls and explained the situation.
Seriously?

I know a wealthy guy who knows/owns a whole welsh valley town of extremely tough idiots, if you did this to him he would pay up and then come back for it, he would not be looking for the scarred perpetrator on 192.com either, he would simply send a land rover or three filled with monkeys round to your place, smash your house up, smash your cars up, chuck you in the back of one of the land rovers bound and gagged asking you politely to lead him to the big man who grabbed his balls. Failure to do this may result in broken bones and possibly being tied to a tree for a day or two while you try to think of a reason why you have no contact details for the guy who's car you were apparantley selling.

You then have to ask yourself, is it a path you want to go down and where does it end? It's not a game I'd ever play.

You haven't seen the town, or the inhabitants, there was a 3 week riot there once, caused 15 pounds worth of damage!

On a serious note, you know exactly what I mean and my point is validsmile

yes A large percentage of people know somebody nasty, but there's no way of knowing if the nasty people the other side know, are nastier than yours . . . . . . so it's best to simply wallop them in court, as judges don't tend to be that violent biggrin

What a surprise !

HMRC for 67,000 GBP outstanding, so I heard. I even heard something about the VAT bill last year but no idea if it is related to his person bankrupcy.

I guess only his son to go now.

TO be fair, that paragraph does read like a 13 year olds attempt at re-creating lock-stock or similar.
I dont think people here really believe that people own towns

Granted, Vegas hang over whilst attempting humor frown

He does own rather a lot of it and has most of the people in his pocket in some way, shape or form though. Hes the man behind the nasty men throughout a very nasty part of the world.

The worrying part is, you wouldn't think it if you seen him or his businesses.
