And that's the bit that I really like about them - those side veins ala Testarossa

Someone came up with quite an interesting observation regarding the slats across the rear lights saying that on the red cars, they can look a bit dated, but on the black cars, they blend in and look quite mean.

I really need to find a big Ferrari do close by to go and see first hand. I know that there's one in Brigg on Aug 8th, unfortunately I can't get to that one

MOD - I see you didn't make the North Yorks meet last night? Are you shunning us already? Are our cars no longer loud enough for you?.... colour I mean obviously

ey up Al

I too like the side vents. Not so sure on the rear lights but are you aware of the conversion kits you can get to turn 348 lights into 355 lights? Not a fan of replica tat on cars but having seen these in the flesh it doesnt try and make the car look like a 355, just updates the lights on the 348 but inkeeping with the original looks IMHO. I would be tempted....

heres some before/after pics

ooh, that looks nice, but then again, I think the slats are the character of the 348.

If those pics are true before and after, then it looks like you need a whole new rear skirt, as the new light/centre panel looks deeper?

nah, dont think it is a true before/after - unless they did a hardtop conversion too

Had to work late last night.

The Porker is sat sulking in the garage cos its not been out to play all week. Am hoping to go for a early Sunday morning hoon or maybe after work tomorrow night in the early evening.

I would never shun you Al, even if you do have a sun glasses' collection akin to Elton John in both style and quantity

Best Regards

Martyn.

Just goes to main forum page ie.

http://ferrarichat.com/forum

I would try going to "user options" but I can't find any form of options button anywhere.

Jaysus, just shows how well Ted has got this site sorted

On main page , look for "user options" which shd be under the panel showing your log in name . Click on that and then again on "user control panel"
you shd now get a page showing new threads. On left of this shd be "controlpanel", go to "edit options" on there.
Scroll down a bit till you come to "thread display options" and make sure you've checked the 3 boxes , " show sigs, show avatars, show images"
Below that , go to "date and time options " and choose GMT Western Europe Time.
You shd now be sorted !

I think this happens when you have configured a site to not remember your password so you have to always log in manually. Mine works fine when I select the link but when I un-remember my login details it takes me to the home page.

So do I have to subscribe/pay to upload a photo to a forum or my profile?

Well... I have, i think, sorted my profile out, subscribed, put the correct time in and bought a kettle, toasted sandwich maker and a cuddly toy!

It won't accept my URL link for my pic though?

Never mind, I'm sure I'll get there in the end.

Thanks for all the help guys

As a Non Subscribed user you won't be able to up- load an avatar or profile pic. You can upload 5MB of attachments and then that's it.You can view and post in all sections other than subscribed ones.
