What Ferrari is this?!
Discussion
Seems like it could be a V12 - the volume at the rear, particularly the height of the rear deck, plus the location of the vents being very different.
However, if it is, think of the one-off cost?! To re-engineer that car with a new body, different interior, rerouted vents, pipes, exhaust etc. etc. plus making it handle with all the extra weight over the rear axle. Haven't even mentioned the gearbox (which would no doubt have been designed for a front engined V12...)
If it is a V12 it must be a very expensive one...

It might have been easier and cheaper to have bought another 512BB.... Each of the 'Special Projects' has failed - in my opinion - to improve on the originals or the subsequent 'donor' cars. I read somewhere that Ferrari limit how many mods can be made, probably because of construction and use regs as well as engineering solutions that Ferrari have spent millions perfecting.
