I doubt they are rusty but that is what they are supposed to look like. Perhaps sprayed orange? A tad odd perhaps but then again this is effectively a race car so they are probably as functional as they need to be.

Interesting. On the McLaren website it says the use an inconel and titanium exhaust system, both of which are corrosion resistant. I wonder if it's some sort of ceramic coating?

Not sure if like that out of the box or the normal heat cycle colouring

If I had the plate I would give it to you in exchange for a chance to ride shotgun, maybe on a run at FOS etc. Money would be nice but when else are any of us ever going to get that opportunity.

McLaren tour in Italy
Goodwood Members meet.

Still using it. Managed 3 days on track with the car last year.

P1GTR has joined the F1 now so both will be out and about this summer.
