It looks OK ... can help thinking how much quicker it would be with a zero shift g/box rather that those stupid padels.

Give me a real gear stick anyday.

I think this car is a bigger leap than other new designs for the 345, 355, 360 line. . .

Why not work on a mechanical sequential shift option? I wonder if that is possible with sycronizers? I'm thinking of the Hewland in most race cars. Then again that's not what ferrari is doing in F1. I wonder about the 333sp thou. . .

I like this design a little better than the Modena. I like it a lot. The nose looks a little like the shark nose grand prix car and a little like race 360's front splitter.

IMO the smaller headlights and revised intakes make it more Ferrari-like than the 360, which looked like a dirty great Porsche 904.

As with the 355, it is one of those few facelifts that actually manages to improve upon the original.

Hi,

It's really grown on me over the last week. I tell you what go onto:
www.fast-autos.net/ferrari/ferrarif430.html

Check the Pics in the silver, I guess it's the F430 CS version. It looks great, I know what you guys mean about it looking too similar to the 360, but I think the small changes/tweaks have made a big impact on looks and the uprated engine is going to make nice difference...hopefully.

I've aborted my 550 ambition, I have to have one too.

How long is the waiting list?

Woudn't it just be easier to pay a little premium to get one immediately? I want mine like yesterday.

Obviously i'd love one, despite some of the details not being as they should. When you look at older Ferraris and the legends like the 250 GTO etc, they're far simpler and look better for it. Ah well. I think I'll place an order - for the 1/18th scale diecast model.....
