Importing from Italy.

You need a certificate of conformity which you can apply to Ferrari for.You must also surrender the reg plates to the Italian DVLA.
You do not need a COC as your car is Over 10 years. You will need to register upon import with VOSA
MOT, this will be done on the chassis number.
Insurance with chassis number only.
You might need certificate of Mutual Recognition but cannot remember if you need this.
Trying to think what else you'll need.
Good luck
Thanks - I have spoken to a couple of dealers and with poor Italian on my part and only passable English on theirs, communication is a problem. I find written communication via email has been patchy and uninspiring. Here in the UK we all expect dealers to be all over their cars and know every nut and bolt. I get the distinct impression the Italians are much more laid back about their Ferraris!! I'd really like to speak to someone (Paul?) this side who's recently been down this road.....
