So who else has ordered a new Ford GT?

Spoke to a couple of dealers - they're pretty much in the dark about it. I am popping down to one later to "get my name on the list" - but I'm guessing they will be as bad as they were with the GT - which went to a dozen or do UK supplied cars - it was ridiculously frustrating.....
+1absolutely beautiful car
It might be worth filling in the "keep me informed" page on the Ford website (there is an option you can tick for the "All-New Ford GT"):

Thanks for that - will do this as well just incase the dealer messes up or loses the list (as happened when I first put an order down for my R35!).http://www.ford.co.uk/SBE/KeepMeInformed

I have a strong suspicion this will only be avilable at a few of the new 'Ford Stores'. There will be about 60 'Ford Stores' in the UK and they will be the only ones selling Mustang, RS & Vignale.
Unless the dealer near the OP is owned by Ford (Trust Ford) or is a very large dealer/group I'd imagine the chances of them supllying a Ford GT very, very slim. There is currently no 'list' to put your name down on yet as the car was only announced yesterday.
I work at a very large Ford dealer and we are to become a Ford Store, if you PM me I'll stick your name on a Spreadsheet and as and when I get information I'll get it over to you and of course if I can supply you are car I'd be more than happy to!

At least, unlike other manufacturers, they wont look to see what your Ford buying history is and therefore your worthiness..
Cracking looking car and while you are waiting, your F40 is appreciating nicely
I don't know...I've heard rumours you have to have owned a minumum of 5 Mondeos before they will consider you for a new GT!Cracking looking car and while you are waiting, your F40 is appreciating nicely
(Just kidding obviously)
Keep us up to date OP/Anjum

Cannot possible see how it'll be priced anywhere near the 485
I'm sure it's aimed higher and rightfully so with it's carbon tub etc
I thought it was £300K as it $450k
I tend to agree but then Ford pricing plus the cost of McLarens with carbon tubs...? Wishful thinking I suspect!I'm sure it's aimed higher and rightfully so with it's carbon tub etc
