I think it's haters fueled by jealousy, or they bought something much more expensive that is comparable and don't like it perhaps

Or maybe they drive around in a leased Discovery and wish they weren’t an inbred yokel who doesn’t understand local planning laws wink

You are missing the point, clearly you are not aware that in most cases it's the rare cars are the ones that hold most value - supply and demand and all that. And no, the Legacy Spec B is no Audi R8 but is more rare on the roads , so I can sit at the light's knowing I'll not see another one , unlike mass produced German goods.

Lexus LFA all the way.
Good point mate but think I’ll stick with the R8, I’m sure your Legacy is great for runs to the tip though

Plot twist - I actually have an R8 V10. It is a sports car.

Try something that is defined as a supercar, and you'll realise.

And how does over 15,000 458s produced sit with that? Over 150 of those for sale in the U.K. now they’re hardly poles apart. Over 150 Hurracans for sale and they’ve only been in production 5 years.

Do you really think 300 R8’s for sale on a car that has been in production for 12 years is a high number? In a country with 38 million vehicles registered?
Ferrari make lots of cars, not all of which are supercars.

However, the F12tdf, superfast, superamerica, Enzo, LaFerrari and F50 on the other hand are bona fide supercars.

La Ferrari is a hypercar.

As is the Porsche 918 Spyder.

As is the McLaren P1.

No

Not sure my Ferrari 599 is a supercar ...possibly it is. I would class an Aventador as a supercar and something like a La Ferrari as a hypercar.

I'm amazed this thread is still running. I suggest not spoon feeding this guy as he's clearly a big shot intellectual, a supreme petrolhead at the top of his game and streets ahead of the rest of us. Perhaps not the total waste of oxygen as I previously thought.

More chance of seeing God I’d say

The guy’s contribution to this site is limited to deriding the R8 on several threads, mocking people with mental health problems on a thread where the OP has a child with aspergers, and now a new low, is pretending to own an R8, (not the Discovery he was asking about leasing on another recent thread) just to try and lend some legitimacy to his derision of (allegedly) his own car.

And if by some chance he does own one he’s even more of a prat for slagging his own car off all over this site.

Makes me wonder if you actually understand what the phrase ‘spoon feeding’ means.
How is that relevant to this situation?
Bit of irony there Mark

based on having this conversation 100's of times with various petrol heads.....

I have a 458 - and I love it to pieces - naturally aspirated and sensational both on and off the track!

Having said that, I have a deposit down on an 812 and the 458 is likely to go.... frown

I own a “not supercar” and like custard, but that doesn’t cut it for this thread wink

However, I have spent the day driving across France in convoy with two cars that were supercars when new, a Ferrari 360 and a 930 turbo. My car matches the 360 in performance and head turning, the 930 is slower worse handling and gets less attention.

Nevertheless, they both are IMO supercars, my Lotus is not.

Pic because I can smile. Sorry about the weird perspective, the Evora and 360 are similar in size

I like F-Types and if I owned one I wouldn't give a fk what anyone elses opinion on them was, I've always been like that, I don't listen to anyone else, if I see a car I fancy and I've got the money I buy it.
