is the F type a supercar?

Some nice cars turn up in my gym car park. Sometimes I go in the 360 and park close to a lovely F-Type. As nice as the Jaguar is, and I do like them very much, when there's a mid-engined Ferrari close by it may as well be invisible.
I can't believe this debate is still raging

There are several key elements that make a supercar and you need to take all of those things in to account like the post I listed and I agree it is on the lower end of supercar it is still there I traded my farrari ff in for the R due to maintenance costs after my service warranty ran out due to drive time and ride and pure luxury along with looks sound basically wow factor I have been pulled over on several occasions by police just wanting to check it out never in the ff no tickets received even when deserved every time I drive it I get questions and comments not so much with the ff I don’t care what people think I know it is a supercar that’s why I bought 1 not about speed my Porsche is quicker but it’s twin turbo all wheel drive as well
This never ending sentence is difficult to read! The article in the previous link is total comedy too, real fanboy material. Some nice cars turn up in my gym car park. And to most of the people under 30 who go to your gym, an RS3 next to your 360 would make your lovely classic car invisible
Hell, what do I know. I can only speak from experience How long do you stand around in the car park for and how many people are walking past as you get out? And you're looking at them all and judging how much attention they are giving your car vs the Jag and you've decided they look at yours more
And there's been a few times when you've had an RS3 or an RS6 next to it and the same thing happened?
Sounds a little far fetched to me to be honest but keep enjoying your car!

So you've parked next to a F Type in your 25 year old Ferrari that is slower than a chipped Golf, several times and each time you've noticed people looking at your car and not the Jag & you're sure about that after many times

His point is valid whether he lifts or not.
I wouldn't have thought so to be honest, what you're saying is like assuming young people would revere some old Sony Minidisk player because at one time it was the pinnacle of its product & brand categoryA sizable number of people in that gym are going to be younger than that vehicle and it's yesterday's car however you look at it. You may not like that and if you're an older petrolhead you may not agree but a large number of young people who will always be a majority at a gym, would be more interested in something that came out recently like an M4 or even the Jag. Not some ancient sports car, Ferrari or not.
Maybe if it was a newer one fair point. I mange a field team of people in their late 20's- early 30's and they're all into their cars, it's newer cars that are the ones they are interested in and the RS cars from Audi / the AMG Mercs and BMW M are the lusted after metal not some classic from the 90's
Putting aside the ridiculous cringiness of the comment in the first place with the OP deciding that more people walking past were looking at his car than the one he parks next to, which is a bit bonkers in itself
How has a chipped Golf been brought into this discussion?
The Ferrari 360 was a super car in its day. Today the 360 is in limbo mode, between being a knackered old ish Ferrari and a classic.
I remember the F355 being in the same position, on sale for between 35-50k, now it’s 100+
I’d definitely look at a 360 over an F-Type, it’s nowhere near as special.
