Just picked up the thread guys. Thanks Dom, Kev, Guy, Trackdemon, Ninja, and Manu for a great day, it really was pretty special. The stunning mix of cars really added to the !!WOW!! factor of the convoy.

Must have been pretty jaw-dropping for the other cars as the six of us came screaming into the tunnel. (all six times!)

Hi Grant,

Loved your motor mate. Its a little too fast for the 355 on the straights though, so being infront of you is a little scary, i.e. when you nearly drove through me!, but being behind you was scary too . Lovely sound of it popping away, and theres some video footage of you under the tunnel!

Actually just sent an email to Manu regarding this. He's uploaded to my ftp server, and I was going to setup a web page for downloading, but some of the number plates are visible and I don't want this to be concern for the relevant owners. Don't think we were speeding (in the clips ) but couldn't swear we weren't 5 or 10 mph over the limit so not sure whether it would bug anyone. I'll host those that don't show reg numbers!

Will post a link later today here.

PS. Can I have a go in the Chim too?

Although must admit, Essex and Southend do have some lovely women, not all of them were that bright last time I was there. My mate owns the two casinos there, so we could always go there and have a laugh too!

The way he grins when you mention using a camcorder lead my suspicions in just that directions. I noticed how he managed to keep the camera exceptionally still even with all the violent motion in the car. Maybe more than just the "covert filming"?

Oi Ninj, my missus is an Essex lass... Used to own a white 5 GT Turbo actually. Maybe the stereotype is true...
