I seem to recall having seen your website before (the joys of a photographic memory)....

Long shot, but are you friends with Ben Pike / Simon Leith? Ben had/has a S2000 think he likes his

known Ben for years - it was his car that got me thinking about one!!

Johnny5 - was you car BlownK? If so, you're always going to lose a lot on something that 'unique' Apologies if it wasn't yours

Not saying they hold money especially well, but even with a new one you are at a relatively modest starting point, so unless you are looking at %'s they aren't *that* bad when compared to real exotica. You can't lose 40 grand on an Elise can you?

I'd say a 340r or decent s1 exige these days is as close to depreciation-proof as you are going to get (I wish my s2 was, but thats another story ) - they really have levelled off totally IMO.

It certainly was.... That was a lot of the financial hit, but i've also had another elise (standard) and a Esprit Sport350. Only just learned my lesson now !

cannot get the Gallardo at all - only one modern Lambo for my garage: Murci.

Get one then... The £20k would be your deposit £1k p/m, so you could have a Murci in your garage for a year and it only cost you £32k... Bargain!

Tuan

Go on, you know you want to...

Seriously, it'll be worth it to scratch that Murci itch. I tell you, nothing I've drive so far, comes close to the performance of these cars over 60mph... The performance is simply epic.
