Appreciate there is a dedicated forum for this, but who is going ?

I'll be going, along with 23 other petrolheads from the SE London / Blackheath.

Our convoy has a classic vibe, mine is the newest by far. Cars include

My G-car (or a Murcielago if i can find one)
Ferrari 246 Dino
Aston DB4-GT
Bullet car mustang
Ferrari 250 GT California (!)
Jenson interceptor FF

just to name a few.

Anybody in the area is more than welcome to join the convoy.

I'll be helping to drive the support truck with a convoy of cars like 360s, Diablo, Noble, VXTurbo and a bunch more.

First LeMans. Can't wait!

I'm going. Leaving friday am on the ferry. Staying in Alencon this year though as I hate camping, and whilst the chateau near lemans was nice last year, it was really too expensive.

... not wanting to slag off Rico in any way Al, but calling our little group the "Rico Massif" is tantamount to sacrilege...

Why?? Well...

(i) Viant is the master organiser
(ii) a few of the group are veterans of 15plus visits(not that that in itself makes any difference)
(iii) no Peugeot 306's are currently part of the convoy (although they are more than welcome)

...now whilst I don't want to appear as if I'm up my own ar$e (or Viant's for that matter).... Rico is still in shorts and hanging onto his mother's apron (as I'm sure he will admit), both in terms of Le Mans and the "beverage consumption" that will take place over the week-end!!

In the past this little group has been known as the " Race? ....What Race!!!" group as evidenced by the tour t-shirts (although these were alternated with Ted's official PH shirts last year).

Well said Tony - we are if anything the Viant Convoy..

At current count we're looking at something like the following :

1xLamborghini (unk), 3x360, 1x355, 1x3200 and possibly a GT40 (any news on that?), plus some M3s, a ricer or two, some DMS 911TTs and some crappy slow Vauxhall

No problem Tony, it was purely a turn of phrase. I am indebted to Rich and the rest of you for allowing a northern t*sser such as myself to join you at such short notice! ...

now, about these T-shirts

Perhaps a Viant t shirt would be in order? I think I have some suitable material taken outside the ACO bar on the Saturday night!

Again I will not rise to another taunt suffice to say that "Stig" was sitting next to me slowing the car down with has considerable weight
And I now know the real reason that bend is called the "follow through"

awww
Gonna say the only thing that is wrong with that car as a speed machine is the loose nut behind the wheel

BTW what you doing with stig in your passenger seat - could have broken 1.30 if you'd chucked him in the pits

Don't worry rico, you'll feel like you're a middle aged alchoholic with a full on midlife crisis and severe liver damage after drinking away the weekend with us.
