Jonny - if it's a cat D -it's been written off at some stage as "within economic repair" - but you are right - must have been a biggie - wonder if it's showing as a cat d on the register???

If so then that will knock 25% of the value off in my opinion.

This car was at Lambo High Wycombe when I was there looking at a car in it's pre-repaired state. Bit of a sorry sight TBH. It was indeed a frontal...

Having said that though, If Lambo HW have repaired it and the repaired status is reflected in the price, why not consider it...

I'd give Graeme Schultz (dealer principal) a call at Lambo HW and ask him outright what was repaired. Only way to be sure.

When I was there I went out in a repaired Grey one that they'd just done. It was also a biggie apparently. If he had not told me, I would never have known. Their work is good.

Yep I am virtually 100% sure that some were Right hookers. In fact I think I've looked at an RHD in a showroom before.

I got all my information from Alan Robb at LHW, he was in charge of repair and quality control / rehab of the car

It had a new clutch at the time also, which is of benefit

Hmm - interesting - Im not now sure why I think they ARE all lhd....ive certainly always had that impression, only seen (and driven) an lhd version....maybe i should have written 'nearly all'

Can confirm too that the car did have damage to the front of it - not too sure of the extent though. Also worth noting is that the paint job is one off (one of the reasons it was in Wycombe for so long), although it is very similar to the 'orange' Lambo it has been specially resprayed a slighty different shade.

Nightmare, most of the 220s I've seen are RHD as it happens. Sure, there are several unsold lhd cars for sale right now courtesy of Grange, but I'm sure a Google would show the number of RHD cars built versus LHD cars.

Sorry to hijack.
Rubystone, are you saying that there are still new cars unsold?
How much are they asking?

Grange bought the remaining unsold lhd cars a number of years ago (8???) and sold them over a period of several years. I regularly see unregistered cars up for sale around £115,000 (or is it just the one car?.....)

I recall seeing a green unregistered lhd car in Grange's Brentwood showroom 2 or 3 years ago.

They've still got a few last I heard (kensginton).

re: RHD/LHD....seems I'm 100% completely wrong - happens a lot as it goes! Sorry for the misinformation everyone else
