Wanting to transport our Supercars to Europe
Discussion
Can anyone help please?
A group of 6-8 of us are wanting to get our Supercars transported to say Monaco, to then have a blast around the French Riviera for a few days.
Has anybody used a covered transporter company that they could recommend? What is the rough cost? I've heard it can be up to £900 per car return. Obviously want our cars looked after.
Amy recommendations of companies/ sharing of experiences would be much appreciated.
Thanks

There's no strict rule for prices as such because it can depend on other loads, trucks having to wait there for you, how many cars vs exactly how many fit per truck etc. Typically I don't think you'd get £900 each way for a car unless you got a really, really good deal, I'd expect more like £1,200 to £1,500 but you may have some room for negotiation and obviously it depends on their other movements at the time.
I normally use a company called All Transports for multi-car movements and they've always been great, chap called Stuart should be the point of contact. http://www.alltransportsltd.com/

I would speak to the following:

Don't be put off by Olympic's positioning, they were recommended by a friend who had them move his 918, CGT and Miura and I used them on the strength of his recommendation and have found them to be fastidious and highly professional. They were incredibly careful loading one of my cars which is very low and both drivers were identical in the level of care they demonstrated getting my cars on and off the loader.
In my experience, a few of these companies who position themselves and target 'exotic car' owners charge over the odds. If you're a regular and are flexible in your timings, you'll get better rates.

Yes taking care of our babies is paramount. Ive already approached one of your recommendations but will try the others. Thanks
