Anyone have a list of results on what sold and prices? The 991R didn't do so great and quite a few of the Ferraris didn't sell afaik but the 918 and RSR did pretty well I thought.

Cheers, much appreciated. Interesting the 959 didn't reach the reserve amongst others.

Never driven, never registered, was pushed on, and it's stained by the factory protective grease which is still on it, and deteriorating! (Full red leather interior, inc cage, dash and wheel)

If you had an endless car collection and cash, then it would be an interesting ornament, but not for me.

Interesting the 911 R sold for $380k which is around £295k Sterling.

Values seem to have plummeted for these. If anyone did buy when they were £500k+ they have taken a huge hit.

According to RM Sotheby's website the 911R sold for €348,500 inclusive of buyers premium but not the tax. So it's around £320k sterling in reality for a LHD.

I thought there were a lot of strong bids but many unrealistic reserves e.g.

- 13,500 kilometres Enzo: At least 1 bidder was willing to pay £1.7m sterling (inc buyers premium and tax)
- 200 kiometres La Ferrari with a bidder offering £2.45m sterling (inc premium and tax)

Madness that these figures aren't high enough!

The auction house is allowed to bid up to the reserve price to 'generate interest' I believe. Those high bids on non selling cars might not have been 'real' ones.

The only 'bid' I saw on the LaF was at €2m from a guy who was low-ball bidding in everything (and was a seller of a later lot). There was not one bid after that, it was all the auctioneer.

Very instructive to watch it all from a seat at the back! I would now put zero credibility on any 'high bid' numbers if not sold.

You're absolutely right.

The 'high bid' figure on an unsold lot usually just tells you that the next bid increment amount was *probably* the seller's reserve figure.

I watched online the P1 GTR 'going across' and didn't think there was a single real bid - the auctioneer had no eye contact with anyone. If there had been a genuine bid he would have been looking straight at them for their acceptance of next increment.

Yep - no bids on the P1. Guys on phones pretending to talk to people, but are better auctioneers than they were actors....
