Some sources say 2; others say 5. Also, it's unclear whether the SuperSports was made out of the 20 coupes, or whether they were built separately. If anyone could clear this up for me, I'd be eternally grateful.

Thanks in advanced smile

Quote ''Based on the limited production CLK GTR, the Super Sport represents the pinnacle of Mercedes-Benz development. It is the product of HWA, a specialist firm which helped Mercedes-Benz prepare the original CLK GTRs that raced the GT1 class at Le Mans. HWA is also responsible for creating the 25 road going examples of the GT1 racecar. among these HWA has prepared five roadsters and two even rarer super sports models having a much larger engine.''

Never seen one, but my dad did when they came out, in Aston rowant near where we lived which has a top class stud. So I presume it came from there!

I believe there where 5 built in total. Love them and are you getting one? 20 coupes and 5 roadsters. Mercedes has 1 in their museum and the rest I don't know about.

never knew about the additional 2. Would be interested in knowing more about them.

Rarer than the mclaren f1 I believe though not as loved. Shame really as they are staggering cars
