Salon Prive 2017
Discussion
Looks to be a superb venue for getting up close and personal to an impressive array of cars. Anyone here planning to visit this year?
I have submitted my application to the "Prestige & Performance Competition", not really sure what to expect but thoroughly looking forward to it nevertheless.

I've taken part with a couple my cars for the last 2 years and have been accepted again this year with my 911R. What car did you enter? The variety and quality of the cars at both the full event and the Pirelli event are incredible. The organisation and quality of food, stands, etc. is second to none. I couldn't recommend it more. You'll have a great time. I'd recommend going to both events even if you don't get accepted. Good luck.

I've entered an AMG GT R and to my surprise it was accepted! Great to hear you hold it in such high regard, I have provisionally planned to arrive and leave as per the requirements of the entry, what happens the day before?

You'll get to attend Salon Prive proper on the Saturday. You'll see all the cars and bikes from the Thursday Concours, all the manufacturer's displays and the classic and supercar specialists displays. Plus all the stands etc.Great to hear you hold it in such high regard, I have provisionally planned to arrive and leave as per the requirements of the entry, what happens the day before?
The Pirelli event on Sunday is likely to have some very unique cars. In the last couple of years there have been koenigseggs, paganis, bugattis, a McLaren F1, a road going Enzo FXX, a lot of rare Ferraris, Lamborghini, Aston Martins, Porsches. They've also had Ariel Atoms, Radicals and other track focused cars.
I believe this year some of the cars from the Salon Prive show will also be shown on the Sunday. If that happens it will be a steal at £50 or whatever. Last year they had a bunch of Miuras including the only convertible one ever made and it was stunning. They also had a Centenario. This year there will be a LaFerrari Aperta. Who wouldn't want to see one of those beauties.

Are you sure you've not been scammed as their website has no suggestion of an event on the Sunday ?NoPaddleShiftForMe said:

£41 for a family of 4 or £60 with access to the Palace. Top value for 350 super cars in a stunning location.
