Yes, that was the £250,000 car that he bought for a fraction of that, bit of course he wasn't aware of what was going on?!

At what point did "over the period of 2 years or so that this occurred Mr Gray gave between $11-12,000,000 to Edwards to use more or less as he wished" become a good idea? I wish someone would give me a few million to do what I want with!

Sometimes, people deserve what they get.

Sounds like some willy-waving. Being the big man and throwing money at his mates to show off, while they siphon away bits of cash on the side. Similar stuff happens a lot to professional footballers.

In more plain language is it that you think all of these places are run by dodgy Asians? I've been to SSC and didn't get that vibe at all. They are very clever with their stock and I can believe how he has built it up. Going from 2003 that's plenty of time for a really motivated individual to build a big business up in this sector. I work in the specialist trade sector and although I had a parts business going back almost 8 years i really only got into car sales 3.5 years ago with 38k of stock. By the end of next year that will be 500k that's just frugal spending and dam hard work with constant reinvestment. I have no desire to get any bigger in fact I will be downsizing in the coming few years but the ability required to build a SCC or GC motors can't be underestimated. Whatever you do to earn money to buy a supervar guys like this are your peers believe me. It's one of the hardest businesses to get ahead in.

The specific area of West Yorkshire nobody buys a car from is Keighley home of Keighley trade centre now motorhub. There are many many horror stories and rumours of how they are funded but nobody really knows. A lot of people that come to my place assume I'm second or third generation but they would be wrong too.
