I just bought a 348 this past weekend. The floor mats seem to be exact fits (maybe a tad too big) because I noticed the driver's mat slides on top the accelerator pedal at times. There are silver eyelets in each corner of the seat side of the floor mats.

Should these eyelets be fastened to something? If so what?
Is it possible these mats are made for a 355, or some other vehicle that uses eyelets to fasten the mats down?

I've got 2 sets of mats, the first set into eyelets on the floor, the second set into eyelets on the first. Fit absolutely perfectly.

I haven't noticed eyelets on the floor. Where are they located?

I think you may have a couple of things missing from your mats - if there like mine anyway (albeit none Ferrari)

There should be some kind of retaining clips which screw into the carpet. The eyelets then go over the retaining clips and 'lock' the mat in place.

Have a look around on the carpet (maybe under the seats if they are big mats) to see if you can find them.

If not, you may be able to purchase them from somewhere like Halfords etc.

Hope this helps.
Jay.

If you look under the seat, you should see a floor mounting where these eyelets affix, although it takes quite a lot of pressure to get them on. I leave mine off and the carpet stays in place no probs.
