True but not ones with a 7 year warranty and the fastest growing retail market share in the UK for the last 10 years - QUALITY REDEFINED !!!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyfzojA6eys
You know you want one, just keep saving and maybe take a 2nd paper round

Right, so anyone's opinion of what colour they prefer or would or not would not buy is immediately invalidated by "basic colour theory"..? Theory defined by whom? Someone with an opinion? Why would that opinion be any more valid than any other person's. This is not science, it is emotion. Utterly nonsensical statement sir.
Yes, science has quite a lot to do with it. Most artists will understand the theory, if not the science. Your emotions have a lot to do with it but they're affected by your visual perception of colour for which there are very well defined principles.I should clarify slightly my thoughts re this (as if anyone cares). It is standard rosso corsa that I don't think looks good on a 599. However a few years back I saw a 599 in the very dark metallic burgundy that is a special order (someone here will know the correct name) and that was stunning.

Personally, in respect of my 430 Scud...
I've had red many times before so thought I'd try another colour (after the idea was floated by a mate). I like the black because:
- Looks menacing and dramatic, especially without a front plate. Viewing the car in the rear view mirror it looks ace!
- Has a more grown up mature yet sophisticate look (over red). If it were my first Fezza I'd buy red but having ticked that box it gives the car a different character being black.
- At night (esp wet) and under lights it looks superb. I glance back from the cash desk in a petrol forecourt and it simmers under the neon lights.
- I have a strong black and yellow colour combo going on - for me works really well.
- More effort to keep clean but when polished it pops really well.

How do you afford a 430 Scuderia working as a cashier in a petrol forecourt ?
For me it varies by car. The viper in the thread below would look best in blue or red, I had a black RT model and the colour didnt do it justice.
I personally would take the huracan in a bright colour, perhaps the green, over black.
Any Aston is best in grey, Ferrari V8's in red. Would consider a 599GT in grey, my 456 was LM Blue and looked stunning.
Black works on Range Rovers, Porsche and Golf GTI's IMHO.

This one conflicts me a bit, black looks awesome ( there was a probably wrapped but mean-as-fk looking avantador in Hampstead the other day) but I get a nagging feeling its kind of an easy or lazy choice. Supercars deserve better. Saw an electric blue db11 the other day that just popped. That's what a supercar should do. Supercars in dont-mind-me colours make as much sense as putting flip paint on a bubble micra.
