Why would you get it pointlessly serviced?
To maintain the cars value and ensure validity of the warranty? Surely, if you can afford to buy it in the first place then then why wouldn't you?

Which GT2 are you thinking of? I've had a 996 which was great fun but found the 997 a bit too soft. 991.1 GT3 RS still most likely and there are a few around so I could hopefully pin down the right spec for me.

Not keen on the look of the 360 but the Scud is still a possible.

I've been looking at a white Scud at Porsche Cardiff.....mainly because it's a couple of miles from where I work. Looks very clean with only 3K miles and up at £180k. Service history is a little sketchy - certainly for the asking price. Might make them an offer which I think reflects this.

Was initially thinking 997.2 GT3 RS, but the ones available don't really float my boat - I don't really want a white one. There was a very nice 1000 mile Grey Black at DK Engineering a month ago but I wasn't ready to purchase and it didn't have lift which I'd need on that car.

Had a couple of calls from owners with 991.1 RS's so following them up at the moment.

I agree on the white car.

I'm hoping to view a 991.1 RS sometime this coming week. If it doesn't pan out I might come back to the white Scud.

Actually, I thought this thread may have generated a few offers but no such luck tumbleweed

Actually, not quite true, I did get offered one but it was a few too many miles for me. I've got a wanted ad in the classifieds for an RS and that has produced a few leads, some good and some ridiculous! One was offering me the RS that Romans have up at £209 for £5K more!!!!

Fortunately I don't require finance.

Quite a few people who expressed an interest seem to be pulling out of these....I guess that's why there's availability.

Like that a lot!

I was going to buy a 991.1 RS on Friday but the chap selling was about to leave the country for a week or so and couldn't arrange viewing before leaving. Now I have another week or two to wait and it's probably a good thing because it gives me a little more thinking time.

I'm inclined to wait another month or two and see where the Performante gets to. I really can't believe how many there are for sale - most with a few hundred miles. That's the car I'd like.

Well if you can stretch to it, then the Performante is the one to go for imo, but I suspect you’ll have to wait a year till they get to £200.

If you can stretch your budget a bit then it’s worth every penny, and I’ve driven almost all of the contenders in that bracket.
I guess we can only speculate on future pricing right now - nobody knows.

I do know that a private car sold on AT at £215K about a month ago. personally, I think they'll be a lot closer to £200K over the next couple of months - they certainly aren't selling at £230K plus at the moment.

Looks like that may be the Tom Hartley car of a few weeks ago?

Nice spec as well. Yellow can be a bit of a marmite colour but personally I like it. A year old and £24k off list seems about right TBH in todays market.
Certainly firmer than the 720S at £60k off list
My preference would probably be a green of some description but there aren't any colours I'm stronly against.

Such a good looking car.

Can't the bunch of you set up a WhatsApp group and continue your discussion there? I'm sure I'm not the only one who's finding it quite tiresome.

Beautiful....I need it biggrin

At least they're going in the right direction. Soon be close enough to £200K for a bid. Fingers crossed!
