All the above should have good residuals and be reasonable to run!
But not one is a Supercar. There is more to a Supercar than being fast and sounding good. IMO a supercar is about theatre, it must look like it is going 100mph when parked, it should be all about going as fast as possible not compromised for use every day or the odd trip to the shops and for me the "brand" must be super too, so the likes of BMW, Porsche, Nissan and Audi can never produce a Supercar as their stable mates mean that the "brand" doesn't qualify. Yes, they can make a great, ultra fast, sports car that would pee all over a Lamborghini round a track but it would never have the same impact when you drop the keys on the bar.Nissan GTR NISMO Very Rare

Rather shallow but each to their own.

so you go around dropping your keys on the bar seeking adulation? sounds a bit sad av185 said:
So you prefer some kind of reaction in the pub rather than the actual driving experience then.

Absolutely not, but the modern obsession for drivers aids has put paid to most of actual driving experience anyway. What I was trying to express was that pure top speed and acceleration do not a Supercar make.Rather shallow but each to their own.

not this s**t again - haven't we had the "yet another person who's never owned anything close to a supercar, but has strong opinions on what is or isn't a supercar" thread this month already.MKnight702 said:

Ok. So what would you call a 918? Nano2nd said:

I agree it gets discussed a lot. The conclusion is clearly that it's an emotional term as much as a rational one. It's also a term that encompasses different cars in different eras, as technology and branding are both moving targets.Gassing Station | Supercar General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
