Something told me to check here on PH before going to lunch, this post was probably the reason!

Glad to hear you got it. I thought the reg no was R55 SPY on that car? I saw this one 2 months after buying mine and it was with another dealer at the time. It was a similar asking price to mine (£73K). I was a little gutted as yours has red calipers and less mileage. Its got the cream leather which looks lovely.

Congratulations mate! I'm reliving my memories of first getting mine again with you! First 10 minutes of driving it is quite magical.

Don't talk to Manu, he's dangerously persuasive when it comes to tubi exhaust systems, and thats even before he tries to sell you one.

Look forward to seeing at one of the meets. You can join the ferrari owners club at www.ferrariownersclub.co.uk. There is a form you have to download and send to them. Its £70 per year, and that gets you free entrance to some events.

Congrats Basher.

I'm sure you must be gutted getting rid of the Cerbera (It's a beautiful car BTW) but you're replacing it with something far better.

I can only imagine what it must be like waiting to take delivery of a Ferrari. No other car generates so much passion - ENJOY IT.
Jay.

P.S. Did you happen to be at the Birmingham NEC Sports Car show a few months back?

I was parked next to a identical looking car to your Cerbera.

Basher that's fantastic, just fantastic. There are few feelings like this (yes, that too )and I can't see you doing much sleeping over the next few days. In fact the best is yet to come. When you've got it home and you wake up the next day. Then you go out to look at it & realise it's yours. This is an amazing feeling and this smilie made for the occasion: . Well done. Extract everything you can from the next few days and remember to take lots of photo's & video.

See you at the next meet.

Congratulations basher - tomorrow will be the best day of your life I can assure you !!!!

I had wanted to own a Ferrari since I was a child and understood what they were. To realise that dream, it was a dream back then, is a feeling which I cannot explain. In fact I remember the day I handed over the deposit and signed the piece of paper to agree the purchase - the dream became reality and years of hard effort became worthwhile - FABULOUS !!!!!

Yes indeed Steve. And I'll swap you a ride in the flatnose for one in the 360. Deal? Just seen the weather forecast & looks pretty good: cool & dry. Optimal grip & bhp. Yeah.

Take care on the way back Basher- make sure the car's straight before you nail it!
