You could have one of each..? The only decision you will have then, is deciding which one to take out on any given day....champagne problems. tongue out

I also support getting all three. I did and added a 6 cylinder too. All manual, all naturally aspirated and all awesome.

For sheer driving pleasure, the 911R and not just compared to what I have. I have driven all the new stuff from Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren and Aston Martin.

Believe the hype, it is a very, very special car.

You'll get a much more of a car for your money with an R8.

I entirely agree with all that has already been written here , regarding going for whichever one you best enjoy driving , and whichever one most makes your heart leap with joy .

Having said that , the physics and the harmonics underlying a V!2 are very special , indeed unique , if that sort of thing rocks your boat .

A V10 R8 will be more of an event to drive, own and listen to than a 997TT and there likely isn't much between their performance.
I'd even go R8 V8 over 997TT. The 997 is obviously ridiculously fast but a bit of a one trick pony
Many many people on here say they had one & were bored of it / didn't gel with it etc
