Ouch, factoring dealer margin it’s shed 50% of its list in 12 months (assuming it goes for the advertised price).

Mclaren have ruined the brand and I say this as someone that bought a brand new one a couple of years ago and did the head office tour etc so like Mclaren but the brand has been cheapened

They’re like the hublot of the car world

I never really drive mine as it’s too crap really, would much rather use an R8 or Porsche etc

Can see the 720 and 570 falling much further - they’re like kit cars really

Personally I can’t see why they’re so much money - quite boosty And whilst fast I think they’re over rated

Ferrari sound way better and feel more special

Sad but my honest opinion.

2019, £145k. Anyone know the list on this?
desperate spiel from such a respected dealer

"WELL PRICED FOR QUICK SALE - this is not the normal market price for a 2019 model 720S Performance, not the market level and it is merely a price looking to achieve a quick sale."

When they tell you to do one wait 3 month then offer them £100k if it’s right that cars will drop a third in value a £150k 720s will drop around 50k

If I can get my ducks in a row then I might start a conversation.

It ll be a ‘motivated’ owner who needs to sell , the dealer is merely has it on sor . The dealer won’t have much skin in the game so it’s probably no skin off his nose.

I be willing to wager that the 144 is the settlement figure it owes the bank.

The advert has been disappearing then re-appearing regularly over the last month with the selling price changing frequently too.

However Id expect it to sell quickly as it's some £20k cheaper than anything else on the market.

Feels like a scam. Better to pay slightly more for the Alistair Bols car.

Not a scam! Have the sellers phone number as I made him a silly offer some time back! He told me he has removed it from sale for now as not the right time to sell and keeps getting offers thag are even sillier than mine (I offered him £100k)!

To be fair 100k is a fair offer in today's world. Not sure he'll get much more when this nightmare is over!

It was indeed a fair offer but things have changed and I would not throw £100k at one of these right now smile

Do you think it is a real possibility that after this you will be able to pick up a 720s for less than £100k?! I was in the market for a 570s Coupe, put that on hold obviously, with the silver lining being a 570s spider may drop in to budget. But if we’re talking 720s?.....

Mine has 19k miles & I can't see it being worth more than 100k anytime this year.
