Can't believe someone paid £6.6k with fees for that 02 330i convertible
Plenty about at near half that. A bit of a bargain at that price too

Frightening!

As for the 812 as someone has said he has enough room in that price to take £25k off and make it seem a bargain.

Similar with the 325i Manual M Sport ... once that got above about £3500 with the fees it wasn't worth it. It's the auction mentality.
If only CC could engineer a way for the bidders to be a bit sloshed at the same time, the results may be even better!

Crumbs. I've got a similar age/miles/owners A4 Cab 3.0 that I thought might make £2.5k on AT. Think I'll auction it and double my money!

This website is dangerous. I bid on and won the B5 RS4 after a couple of drinks.

I have to say I collected her today and am absolutely smitten...

Now to work out where to park it...

True i,ve seen many times an auction item go for more than the same item at buy now, i still can't work it out.

Auction fever, I've fallen victim to it so many times.

I overheard some one behind me once say to his friend "don't bother, you'll never outbid him"

Once I'd set my mind on the cars I wanted I pretty much just kept bidding.

It's one of the reasons my former business didn't work, I chose the nicest cars, at strong money.

I gave up on the auctions in the end, everything I wanted always went well into book.

I was definitely over-refreshed, but to be fair to my drunk self I did stay within the limit I'd set.

I can be honest and say that new platform and COVID boredom definitely contributed to making the purchase - but the good news is that the car happens to be as advertised. Better, perhaps. The owner is a lovely chap who has obsessed over it for a number of years and I feel quite fond of it already, to the point that its stolen my GT3's garage space (for now).

Great to hear, and a nice bit of feedback for CC

That’s amazing. You learn something everyday. Having asked Google you are indeed correct sir.

I'm keeping an eye on what the Atom makes, it's already up to £51,600 + commission for a car that was only £51k new. I did expect it to go over the new price as they are on such a long lead time, be interesting to see just where it ends up.
