Similar here. I don't have the breakdown in front of me, but my R8 V10+ was about £330 from memory, less than my Merc C43 and BMW X5 M50d and on a par with the Skoda Rapid I keep at my place in the Scottish Highlands.

I must be unlucky living in Bradford then. Aged 54 10 years no claims bonus, garaged, tracker and alarmed still £2488, Car 57 R-Tronic (after TTS stage 2 360bhp manual my son bought off me) not much between them powerwise ( we have yet to go and have a proper play) but I defo prefer the R8 it is everything I wanted out of it or pretty much expected. Done 2 track days Blyton Park abs Snetterton and the gearbox made it so much easier to concentrate on just driving . Best car I have owned to date, opted for the R8 over a Porsche 996 turbo, 997.2 , F type, GTR and Aston Vantage.

Agreed.

(Just a wee super obvious joke, let’s not all get angry)

Very clean looking car and a rare colour. I would prefer the sideblades in CF or a dark colour though.

Looks good to my eyes - it’s a nice contrast…

R8talk.com is probably the most active R8 forum. Very friendly, non-confrontational environment.
