Jonny, I was willing to believe your original post was naive even though you have been here long enough to know better. What concerns me is your continued defense of the outfit. Surely, you would have done two minutes of research to find out what kind of fire you are playing with and yet you continued telling us how happy you are with the transaction.

It’s like saying “Harold Shipman was a loverly doctor” at a “Harold Shipman killed my mother convention”.

Naive and myself are luckily distant strangers. I’ve also been lucky enough to buy just one or two automobiles over the years.
As previously mentioned, this car was a monetary minnow in the scheme of things. However, it still involved my hard earned credit so my own ‘feel safe’ checklist was duly applied.
Who owns car, who can rightly sell car, HPi green lights etc etc ??
On this occasion, I’d had my eye on this actual car for some years and thus built up a clearer picture and understanding. So there you go - the car was without question.
What about the outfit now selling it ?

Of course I’d read negative ramblings with plenty of animated posters ready to put the boot in. Maybe most would take all this info on board and not risk it.
I’m in business and take risks, albeit calculated, every single day. I’m also aware that in business your going to ruffle feathers sometimes and not have a completely bunch of happy clients.
So instead of following the vocal crowd I like to make my own call and judgement.

I went, I saw, I liked, I bought, I was happy, and god forgive me, I told...
It must of happened before, it may happen again or maybe I was just lucky

I’m sure some of Harold Shipman’s patients made an appointment and left The Doctors surgery feeling better.

When I first read the OPs post I thought,
oh no this will bring the bed wetters out in mass rolleyes . I have read the threads over the years, some of it not good reading I'm afraid.
However personally I bought a Ferrari from him 15 years ago when his company was called Sant Agata cars. Got to know the guy for a while, never a problem and was always pleasant and professional. Recommend him to a family I worked for at the time and they bought a couple of cars from him to.
Never been to the new place, but back then I found the guy professional. Chaz

Oh my days. Just when you thought the thread of the year contest was dead and buried, this gem comes out of no where!

From looking at the sheer volume of high value metal this dealership shifts it doesn't seem they have any issues with reputation.

I would expect if the majority of the 'avoid' PH posts are also reflective of majority of experiences then given how fast bad news travels these days I am surprised they are still in business!

It won't be so great as nearly everyone is not able to 'name and shame' due to posting rules. So you have someone praising them but presumably has an ulterior motive.
Please presume nothing Bobby. Once again for clarity and to be crystal clear. I have zero ulterior motive, agenda or upside here. My transaction is done and dusted and I was absolutely not asked to write a post or leave positive feedback etc.

I did so because I was happy and genuinely satisfied - I understand and appreciate others may not be and hold a different opinion. I’m not attempting to contradict, question or make futile others opinions, whatever they might be.
They are entitled to them as I was/am - being in the happy camp

What's "hard earned credit", and why would you use it when you can just use normal credit? The point about normal credit is that you don't have to earn it until after you've borrowed it.

Jeez .... it’s a wasted stab at humour, trying to keep an element of lightheartedness here.

There was no ‘credit’ - it was all my ‘hard earned money‘ !

That's great. I am very pleased you are enjoying your purchase. Many are not. Hope that is not too hard for you to comprehend.

Holy cow! Thought I’d share my own experiences with recent dealings. Everything was of the upmost positive nature - I am certainly not biased, blinkered or dumb (debatable) and can assure you, not connected in anyway
I do my homework and carry out due diligence but ultimately I like to make my own judgement and not follow sometimes ancient historical negativity & naysayers.

Ok, my transaction was small change in the scheme of things, but all the same - I felt 100% confidence dealing with Amari.

I could tell some great tails in here, like how he tries to rip off everyone, including people he really shouldn't...
How he got his ass kicked round the car park by someone he upset...
Many more.
But it would just get deleted or locked.

I think I posted in another thread not that long ago that my experience was nothing short of great! always see people saying to watch out etc but I had no problems, said I wanted the inspection done at Ferrari which they had no problem with, battery was replaced and paid for by them, funnily enough only Ferrari Leeds would inspect the car, Wilmslow had no interest in looking at the car for me due to it being at Amari’s which I did think was very strange.

I mean in this day and age now how bad can the guy be? He seems to have a lot of high end motors has obviously been involved in shady stuff because he has been inside but is it possible he is actually just not a c**t anymore?

I’m not privy to his past in full just about his brother and then the jail time but nothing else and nobody would tell me when I was ringing round independants as I didn’t originally want Leeds to check it because I know he has ties there.
