I don;t know about Diablo’s but for Countach/Muira you will struggle to find anyone better than Colin Clarke Engineering

http://www.colinclarkeengineering.co.uk/

I’d give them a call and if they don’t look after Diablo’s I’d guess they would know the right people to go to.

Would Mike Pullen / Carrera Sport and Grimaldi in Essex be worth a mention ?

Mike Pullen if you want a one to one personal service,

No problems with his work and service in 25 years of using him.

He’s told me in the past that he’ll look at early Diablos but then draws the line.
I’ve never seen one there though.

Much appreciated thanks.
I am looking at a car that needs recommissioning and possibly light restoration
as its been stood in collections most of its life which is concerning.

Take it for a drive.
If it all works……….
Get it inspected.
After that, a lot is simply down to luck.

it might be economic to send it back to the factory

Polo Storico mostly use little independent local shops and then add a hefty premium.
Can kinda do that in the U.K. with people like Mike and Colin, without the hefty premium.

I been working on mine now for a while and it’s one of the easiest cars I’ve ever worked on.
If you can do the basic have a go your self
