High Mileage Supercars/Keepers

A nice update on a "brave pill" McLaren which has apparently turned out quite reasonable to own

Another plug for the Mclaren P11’s.
2016 650s here - has been solid, and has now become my daily since retirement. Only use the old DD’s for long distance travel or chores.
While I’m lucky enough to be well-positioned to get a new supercar for my varied garage, I’m disappointed by their incremental objective improvements over the 650. And they come with the cost of additional weight and Asian-style screens and graphics.
And also my lovely 2012 V12 Vantage. Rock solid (a bit too much so on the road ). But a NA V12 with a real manual gearbox - got to love that.
Not really high mileage cars yet - but definitely keepers.

wow, thats indeed a good buy, congrats. That seems like a very good price for a lovely car.
You probably already know this, but when not using it you should leave it on the trickle charger, and if it didn’t come with one then the Ctek lithium works well.
The way if getting in if the battery ever dies is (assuming it’s the same as the 650s) a mechanical key used on the lock under the sill. Make sure the cover’s in place, and lubricate the lock there and check it’s working. If not a dead battery can really become a pain to deal with.

Congrats...I had a cheeky bid at £56500 then had a bit of post bid anxiety when I realised I really don't need two of them and how was I going to explain that to the missus! AA121 said:

You're OK if they're the same colour, at least according to a multiple MG owning mate. Just make sure you move the glovebox contents to the one you're taking home.ex-devonpaul said:
