The reason that 360stimo gets picked on is that in his own words, anyone who doesnt have a Ferrari is a t....sser. He talks alot about being rich, yet when it comes to selling a car it seems that he is not rich at all as he tries to justify how its worth more than it is. The truely rich have no need for this - once its time to move on, they move on at the going market rate.

This thread is going very much the same way as UFO dragged the other threads on Ferrarichat.

Why would anyone introduce themselves to a Ferrari forum and in their first post tell us all how much better the M3 is than any of our Ferraris, and then launch into a running battle with most of the regulars there.

[quoteUFO on F.Chat]Cant see the point of an F car...

After searching for a used 360 F1 for a few months now, and deliberating about the obvious limitation of such a purchase- (limitation of everyday use due to mileage considerations and impracticality, ownership costs, people thinking that you are driving it to show off) - instead I bought an M3 SMG! I dont care what you drive but there is nothing that will touch this car as an allrounder for £30K for a 2 year old under 25,000miles-NOTHING. You can drive it everyday, it has a proper boot, fold-down rear seats, sat nav, bulletproof build quality, its discrete, but the best thing about it is the drive. Absolutely amazing! So waht is the point of a Ferrari? There is only one reason - EGO! - but very few on this forum will admit it.
PS I used to have a Testarossa- great to look at, even better to be seen in it but it was like driving a bus compared to this M3.[/quote]

Like Stimmo, I would suggest that people check the threads out for themselves, but as well as getting banned on F.Chat at some point, his profile has now been deleted and no threads are to be found by going to the site archives.

Chris (stimmo) isn't being intentionally arrogant, just getting mightily peed off with one individual who won't seem to let sleeping dogs lie.

lol....what a comedy thread.

M3s are great though...and dont cost what silly cars cost to run and are just as quick, or quicker inthe real world.

I think that ufoufo might be baiting cos it's fun to see how easy it is to wind exotica owners up. apparently it's pretty damn easy (not pointing at 360stimo here, just looked thorugh some of the linked to threads involving this chap)

That's exactly what he's doing, but it gets a bit tiring after a while - it's called Trolling.

Oh stop it. Let it go. This is turning into "he said, she said".

One could argue that anyone contributing to an internet forum leads a rather sad existence for that matter.

The difference between 360stimo and me is that 360stimo is banned from Fchat! Hes been a naughty boy and banned for life (one reason being that he overprices his cars - or Dads!)

Blimey...I don't normally come to this forum. Is it always like this?

The BMW man is right...but he's also wrong. Ferraris are pointless, but so is the M3. An Evo or Imprezza owner could argue that the M3 is pointless in the same way. And I dare say a Clio Cup owner could say the same thing to the EVo owner - and so on.

Nobody NEEDS a Ferrari for what it does, or an M3. Why not just be honest about it? We have cars like this because they make us feel good. No shame in that - is there?

John, no, the forum is NOT always like this. It is down to one trouble causer in particular, and it's not Chris Stimson.

Like your profile shot by the way Chris ...

funnily enough, I use it as quite a nice backdrop too ...

Not a bad route to work, and yes, I even manged to wangle a yellow Co car too

By the way, why does UFO constantly refer to your dad? Does he not realise how old you are? er, not that you're looking bad mate of course

Just changed forums from TVR to here as have just bought a 328GTS and this discussion is a lot more fun. Haven't enjoyed reading a whole thread this much for a long time. Keep it up all.

Ha Ha, yeah some pretty good roads over that way. Spent many a day off blasting over that way and stopping once in a while to admire the scenery. Can get pretty scary if there is some snow or heavy rain about up there.

No idea why he keeps reffering to my dad, he clearly knows nothing about me or my father and is simply on here to cause trouble. If that gives him pleasure then hey, we are all different. I don't really care what crap he posts about me, but when he starts mentioning other people, especially family members, i find that pretty disgusting.

Guess hes just upset cos hes bought a BMW and cant seem to get let out at junctions! Also I am sure his one isn't fitted with the optional extra indicators! Cant really be a true car enthusiast let alone a Ferrari enthusiast, and I bet he only bought the car for the image rather than actually being a petrolhead!!

I can say with no fear of contradiction that I bought one because it`s a phallic symbol and I need all the help i can get and not for the image....
