Ultimas all seem a bit too raw for my liking. Also ground clearance would be a major issue, our Cerbera is just about right and can get over speed bumps etc easily. I assume a Ferrari/ porker is the same or atleast close to the Cerbs ground clearance. I really couldnt see an ultima used as an only car, whereas im sure other exotica can.

What is the point of owning some of the finest cars on the planet if you cant drive them on a daily basis? - If I wanted a pure raw track car I would have a Caterfield. For the road nothing quite has the appeal of a TVR or Ferrari IMHO.

**whats this about ultimas being ugly though? - Truly gorgeous cars without doubt - Just slightly impractical.

Oh, I don't know about that. Guy (Bluesatin) uses his Ultima as his only car, so I think he'd dispute this point. It's surprising how rarely you need to haul large bits of kit around, unless you're an antiques dealer. I used a caterham as my daily car and it was surprising how easily it fitted into my life- to and from work, going to meetings, do the shopping etc. The only really impractical thing was that damn hood. And the real kicker, applying to the majority of sports cars,is they are mostly 2 seaters. With a couple of small children, this relegates them to weekend cars, and even then the kids end up fighting over who comes with you.

Haha! Yes, being a touch provocative on purpose... I have seen Guys Ultima in dark metallic black and while its not ugly it isn't the most beautiful car either. What it is thoough is *purposeful* with a capital F! Real beast of a machine. I've also seen a red open top one and it really didn't do it for me, I honestly thought it looked a bit gawky and awkward. Sorry!

Awsome machine's though, and I'd still kill for a ride in what must be an amazing machine on the road.
