456 Running Costs?
Discussion
only had mine for just over a month - bought at 1994 model for £28k, had it rac checked, price was knocked down from £36k due to work required and to allow me some cash in my pocket for a year or so on any bills over and above serivce, tyres etc. they are amazing cars for the money - yes its a £150k car when new and yes i am sure you might get the occassional large bill but as long as you get any car from private or dealer checked out, check out service costs, how well looked after, cambelts done etc etc, + try to get a good warranty - even the main dealers will put one on the car for £1000 i can only recommend it - good luck - there are some deals to be had at the moment in the ferrari market this time of year - and regardless of the sales talk, get a good deal !! - good luck !

Cheers guys. Looking at 457mgt's page just now - very interesting. Concerned but not scared off by it. The 456 is such a stunning car - Will go and see a couple of likely candidates next time I'm down in London.
Andy
Also researched for a 456...........found that to replace auto box on gta was 30K ...beware
or get a good warrenty
I've been toying with the idea too. In fact i might be taking the plunge soon. I've thought about the financial running side and figured im only going to do a few thousand miles so MPG isnt not really going to come into it. Servicing will of course but if i can buy one at the right price hopefully i wont feel the bite. Its definately a buyers market right now so maybe do well on the price. The car will probably still depreciate like a rock, but i'll keep it at least 4 years so who cares!

Cheers for that tip off. Although it is a GTA it makes the selection at Verdi look seriously overpriced.
Verdi is highly regarded according to my friends Andy. Karl is a top Bloke by the way.
But the 456 at KHPC is an auto which may be a downside to certain customers seeking a 456 ?
Its a lovely looking car though but I think that KHPC only give a 3 month warranty and they can be a little awkard in allowing testdrives.
But this again is down to personal experience according to the individual.
The car looks nice though but perhaps it would be ideal if it was a manual ?
Just a thought.

Thanks again for the advice. I have only heard good things about Verdi so they are still on my list. Just need to shop around next time I'm down in the London area.
Try these guys. They have a 1995 RHD for sale for 35K
