the 575 was an update on the 550.
the name 575 refers to the increased engine capacity of 5.7 litres while the 550 was a 5.5. the 575 also had a new softer spring/suspension set up but was regarded as too soft and soon the fiorano handling pack became an option until the HGTC version was launched (lighter sportier model with lighter body panels carbon disc brakes, louder exhaust system etc) then it became standard fit.
cosmetically the 575 has a smaller air intake at the front and several other minor nips and tucks. also the 575 was the first V12 Ferrari to be fitted with the F1 paddle shift box all the other models before were manual only.

Basher
Does have FHP, don't pick it up until 20th so can;t really comment on differences as only driven a few miles.
Couldn't resist it as spec is virtually as I would have ordered and I really wanted an F1 box since getting the Maserati Spyder. I'ts a really well looked after car too
