Some really nice sticker/decal applications there, especially on the Gallardos.

Whats with all the ugly tarty chicks in tight clothing showing off the cellulite about? Are they trying to make people vomit?

Glad you got a pic of the green F430.

That colour on a Murcielago is one of my favourite car / colour combinations but it just doesnt seem to work on the Ferrari.

Looks like a good turn out. Much better spread of cars than previous gumballs. I expect the £40K entry price has got rid of the dozens of 'cooking' 911's that used to be on it.

How much is it really to enter now? I'm on something called the rabbit run in a couple of weeks but i dont think there will be quite a turn out like that.

Yep me & a friend have it on our list of things to do in the next couple of years, but the price has rocketed in the last couple of years so much that its now only the very rich that can afford to do the whole thing, esp as private sponsorship is pretty much banned. They obviously want only the mega rich involved, hardly the "spirit of the Gumball" is it ?

You should look at this, I done it last year and it was wicked and im doing it in 2 weeks. I dont think many of us have the money to write our cars off and not worry but everyone of us loves our cars and enjoys having a good sprint in the correct place. I think its going on men and motors after x-mas. Very good laugh, great people, top hotels and very well priced.

Honestly im not trying to sell it i have no interest apart from meeting like minded people. I know me and a mate nearly done Gumball about 2 years aog and i think the entrance fee was 7K now it just takes the pi55.

How about the Cannonball Run Europe then? £4,500 a relative bargain.

I'm building an 550bhp Ultima GTR for the trip which starts in Weybridge on Sunday 9th July.

No idea where we are going but I think there will be a trackday thrown in.....which is nice.

The heros of the rally for me are the two LM002s (those are soooo cool!) and the nutcases in the Radical.
Half of all the Murcielagos in the country seem to be in the event!
Go Lambos!

I was down Lambo High Wycombe last Friday and bumped into the chap driving one of those in this years Gumball - think the car was being prepped or something. Only 300 or so made I believe, so very rare.
And a very nice, chatty guy he was too.
