Cheers for the invite Flight Commander Crikey! Shame about your tyre. cry

Really enjoyed the day. Fantastic big bends for 100mph-plus drifting.

"Maybe lightning does strike twice..." convoy to get more gas.

Agreed...really smart day & the weather wasn't that bad!

Mikey many thanks for the invite.

Didn't get chance to wave good-bye Phil but nice to meet you!

+ One of the coolest sights I’ve seen was following Jan in Diablo (If that isn't cool enough!) driving through the town nearby & watching people standing in shock mouthing....Its a girl driving!!!

Favourite park of the track for me was the quick left hander @ end of the straight.

Tony send me over your email address & I’ll forward you over the bit of footage I was on about.

Yes thanks Mike for a great day. I was so happy that I did 170 mph on the straight. That is the fastest I have been in my whole life. I just wish the straight had been a bit longer as the Diablo had loads more left to go.

Jan.

Went today, guess you guys were a bit unlucky with the weather yesterday

Thanks Mike for a great event
Really made my day to get my little Gallardo to overtake the Enzo on the bend
I'll try and post some pictures, but I've never really worked it out on this website

Anyone got any links to any other pictures?

FCars link only works if you're an FCars subscriber.

To host photos, got to www.photobucket.com and follow the instructions to set up a hosting account (free) and upload your photos to it.
When the photos are uploaded, they will have three lines of gobbledegook under them. You need to cut and paste the bottom one that starts into a PH post. If you go to 'quote' my post with photos, you'll see what I'm on about.

Fab pictures, made me wish I could have gone to RAF Marham!! Sadly prior committments shot this down in flames.

Great to see a Nero Enzo for a change, there's not many Enzos in this colour in the UK. The only Nero Enzo I know so far, belongs to Jay Kay.

I felt really sorry for the guy with the Enzo, the front of the car was a real mess from stone chips
After I had seen the damage I was really scared to look at the front of my Lambo, but in fact my car was fine

Either
1. Paint doesn't stick well to Carbon Fibre
2. Ferrari paint is rubbish compared to Lambo and Porsche paint (given the damage on the front of my old 360 I would go for this option)

Should have arranged stoneguard protection with a specialist company by the look of it.

Apparently, apart from Nero, Corsa and Giallo for Enzo which are 'official' colours, other colours are not covered by the paint warranty. I hope this has been pointed out to those owners who ordered theirs in Argento and Grigio!

Makes you wonder how much a front respray job will cost...

Tri-layer paint with Lamborghini is fantastic, very hard wearing. I only had 4 chips on my bonnet in 8500 miles, many track days & events. The RS4 picked up loads....

Would have been good sport on the Sunday for supercar bashing by the looks of those pictures!

How cool did the PCGT sound down the start finish?

Tony get on with some work!

...the front of mine was pretty well pebbledashed as well ....ouch!!!! ...and my near-side tyres are virtually slicks now!!! ...but all worth while as it was a great day!!

You're all VERY welcome.

I'd like to publicly vouch for Phil's driving skills. I'm not easily impressed, and was IMPRESSED. Makes you wonder what he could do with a decent car! laugh Thanks for the flying lesson, dude! May I suggest a sickbag as an optional extra for your passengers? laugh

Ditto, Nastywej. A fine example of what can be done with a "humble" (not!) saloon when there's a determined man at the helm! Who says Audi can't make a good driver's car? That RS4 was awesome.

Doug's Spyder was in fine voice. Pavarotti gargling gravel. laugh

Tony's got some wonderfull "duelling scars" on the 6.0. I reckon he should keep 'em!

Shoebag.. well she's just lovely!

Nigel span out.

Enzo span out.

Oh.. And "Larry" got a puncture and sat in the Officer's Mess carpark, unloved, for most of the weekend. Can't have everything.

Thanks again to all who came. Roll on next year.

Forgot to mention.

Mr B managed 193mph in the CGT (I was in the passenger seat at the time so I know this was real).

The Enzo hit 201mph. Crikey!

Have you got anymore pictures?

At one stage I went past all the cameras side-by-side with the Enzo, I would love to have a picture of that

Was that Enzo the one which Specialist Cars had up for nearly £800k?

The Enzo certainly had Specialist Cars stickers all over it
The owner said it was one of the last UK cars - so it must be the one that kept moving around all the dealers last year
